  1. 1. Check university entry eligibility

    Check in anabin whether your Turkish certificate qualifies directly or a foundation year (Studienkolleg) is needed.

  2. 2. Meet the language requirement

    German-taught programmes require TestDaF/DSH; English-taught require IELTS/TOEFL. Verify the required level on the programme page.

  3. 3. Obtain the APS certificate (required for Türkiye)

    Applicants from Türkiye must obtain the APS (Academic Evaluation Centre) certificate before application and visa.

  4. 4. Apply to the university (uni-assist / directly)

    Many universities process international applications via uni-assist; some accept direct applications. Mind the deadlines (winter: ~15 July, summer: ~15 January).

  5. 5. Receive the admission letter

    Wait for the university's admission letter. It is required for the student visa application.
